Abdominal desmoid tumor diagnosed during cesarean section

Desmoid tumors are benign slowly growing fibroblastic neoplasms, with local invasive features and no metastatic potential, which have rarely been described to be pregnancy associated. In this case report we present a case of abdominal desmoid tumor, which was diagnosed during cesarean section. This case emphasizes the importance of detailed examination in pregnant women with refractory pain symptoms.
