A 42year-old woman came to the hospital with severe abdominal pain and involuntary guarding. Ultrasonography revealed a 5 cm fundal sub serous leiomyoma and intra abdominal fluid. At surgery, a bleeding vessel on leiomyoma's surface was seen. There was no pathological finding additionally. This was the first case reported that a 5 cm sub serous leiomyoma causes bleeding intra abdominally in a non pregnant woman in the literature.
