Meigs’ Syndrome with elevated serum CA125: Case Report and Review of the Literature

Backround: Elevated serum CA125 levels in postmenopausal women with solid adnexal masses, ascites, and pleural effusion are highly suggestive for malignant ovarian tumor. We aimed,malignant ovarian tumors clinically mimicking a case of syndrome meigs. Case: Forty-four years old patient with diagnosis of Meigs syndrome Conclusion: Adnexal mass in patients with high CA 125 levels should be consider malignancy. Presence of pleural efussion increases suspicion of malignancy.
