ABSTRACT

In four patient which had a bleeding unresponsive to uterotonik medication, bleeding could be stopped by using intra uterine ballon tamponade (IUBT). Because this method is easier to be used and response in a short time, it could be an important alternative to surgical approach. Before the patİent transported to a tertiary medical center, usage of (IUBT) can prevent hypovolemic shock, disseminated intravascular coagulopathy and death of the patient by reducing blood loss.
